REMINDERS!!!
I would like to welcome you to room 212. This is going to be an exciting and productive year for all of us. We are looking forward to learning new things, trying out new ideas and celebrating our success in grade 4 this year.
Communication:
Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if there are any concerns. Communication between parent and teacher is important and will be done through the agendas and newsletters. However, appointment can be made with the office if needed. Please call the elementary school office at 416-321-3776 to get in touch with me to set up an appointment. Punctuality:
Entry times are 8:30am and 12:45 after lunch. Please make sure your child is on time for school each day.
Behavior:
Students are expected to behave in a respectful manner and follow the IF Code of Conduct and the Tribes agreements we have established in our classroom.
Library:
Library book exchange will be every Monday for the girls and every Tuesday for the boys.
Agendas and Homework:
Homework will be given each night and should be completed by the next day. It is expected that students read each night at least 2o minutes. Homework will be recorded in the student’s agendas.
Volunteers:
If you are able to assist with special events (e. g trips, scientists in school) I would be happy to have you .Please let me know if you are interested at the time.
Textbooks and Supplies:
Students have been given textbooks in MATH, LANGUAGE AND SPELLING. They are responsible for their textbook and need to make sure they keep them in good condition. These textbooks are expensive and will have to pay for lost or damaged items.
